NEW TRACKS RECORDED!
After a long wait we have finished our new tracks and in the coming weeks the single will be able at gigs up and down the country. No one looks happy in cars... is our title track and watch this space for reviews and comments. Had a great time in the studio and can't wait to get back in there sometime in the near future. Redwood Thinkers - July 2008
Thanks to all who voted for us in the Surface Unsigned Competition, was an interesting experience but seems like we were not the style of band the judges were looking for (maybe next year). Last month was busy for us and our new single 'No one looks happy in cars' is now in the mastering stage at the studios so the wait will soon be over to hear some new Redwood thinkers tracks. We will also be setting up a free download page for all our mailing list subscribers so remember to sign up and keep an eye on your inbox. Enjoy the summer.

We are competing in the first round of the surface unsigned festival down at Josephs Well Leeds this month. We will also be showcasing our Brand new song 'Chemical' on the night so not a night to miss. Remember to vote for us! Alongside this gig we are busy in the studio recording 3 new tracks for a summer release so all go this May in the Redwood Thinkers camp.

Looks like the Goose is getting fat again and Christmas is nearly here (again).Plans for our first full band Album are in the pipeline with plenty of new tracks for us all to look forward to. More hard work to come but it's all about the music and playing live.

This autumn sees the first show to appear on both T4 and 4music, promises gigs, a tour, TV exposure and a major record deal to the cream of Britain’s untapped music talent (us?) in its search to find the freshest unsigned act in the country. Promotion of the new free EP begins!..... Two five piece tracks have been recorded. Falling Down and Fade so Simple ( click here for a review ). The EP is available for a limited time FREE at all of our gigs in the summer months so do not miss your chance to get hold of our latest offering.

Brand new single..'Falling Down' .The redwood thinkers are back in the studio but this time as a full 5 piece band. After months of rehearsing and performing our new material together our music is finally getting recorded for all to hear. A Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! to all our fans and friends from the Redwood Thinkers. It is that time of year again where we all get to look back and reflect on what we have learnt and achieved. It has been a incredible year for us and we know this is just a taster of the things to come in the new year. Our new full band line-up has settled in nicely and we couldn't be more productive ... a lot of exciting new material is being written and we cannot wait to get some of the new songs down in the studio in 2007. Will this be the year for us? Who can tell but we will be working hard and performing as much as we can and with a national radio slot in the pipeline things are looking good already. A huge thank you once again to everyone who has supported us thus far and we hope to see you all again in the new year. Stay Redwood!

Radio Podcast released and new band members found. It has been a productive month for us and we all cannot believe how good we are sounding with the new female double bass player "Ruth" and new drummer/percussionist "Will". They seem to have gelled so well with us already. Biographies of the new members and photographs will be posted as soon as possible for you all to find out who the new members are. Looking forward to the new Era of the full band that is the new "Redwood Thinkers" and to seeing what new music we create together in the coming months and maybe even years! :)

Redwood Thinkers - Oct 2006
The Search for new band members begins! - After much deliberation we have decided that the time has come to find a drummer/percussionist and a bass player to complete the Redwood Thinkers live line-up. It seemed a natural progression for us to expand and evolve in this way as it will allow for a much more varied live performance and indeed we are all excited to see where this next chapter takes us in our songwriting. Do not worry we will still be keeping our acoustic roots. Watch this space for more news soon as we are auditioning this October.
We also played our second radio slot on North Tees Radio this week, interview and 3 live songs. We were on air for over 40mins and everything went well. Was an experience and we hope the people that tuned in to listen enjoyed our music once again. If you missed it the radio slot will be here to download soon as soon as we get a copy.
